Sound experience

Early experiences making audio packages for Pennine Radio and talking books for the blind gave me the broadcasting bug!  Studying Drama at university gave me a good grouding in performance too. Later on I worked for the BBC and a couple of independent TV companies doing a broad variety of presenting and voice work including:

• The Crunch: a documentary-style, presenter-led series 

• anchor of a weekly magazine media show on a Sky channel

• roving TV reporter

• documentary voice over

• shopping channel promotions

• presenting and facilitating events

• voice of god

After a decade or so in senior leadership in higher education I turned back to my first love - voice over and presenting - setting up a home studio and diving back in head first and am loving tackling anything and everything
